Farmhouse range.

Beer making is traditionally a seasonal activity with many cultural similarities to wine making. Its roots are very much entwined with agriculture. Brewers were historically farmers using their own barley, hops, spices, herbs and native airborne (and domesticated) microbes to make beer during the quieter and cooler times of year. When fruit was in abundance they might even throw some into a barrel and let the goodness infuse. We are starting to see a resurgence in these practices with beer crafted and nurtured over several years through barrel aging, with or without fruit, then blended to refine flavours and produce something exquisitely unique and complex. Brewing in this style encompasses the broad nature of Farmhouse Beer.

In line with an older way of making beer we offer all our Farmhouse range in returnable sturdy Champagne style bottles and hand-made timber crates. For more information on our sustainability practices click here.

2022 SAISON.

Brewed with NSW grown barley, wheat, and rye, malted by Voyager Craft Malt, Whitton NSW, and Australian Cascade hops.
Open fermented with Belgian Saison yeast and aged on local fruit.

2022 NECTARINE SAISON

Beer aged 12 months in Stainless Steel on rough-pureed raw Nectarines, grown and hand-picked by Bina and Tim, from Yarralee Orchard, Bathurst NSW. This unfiltered, unfined, unpasteurised beer will continue to develop character if cellared.
